Information Kit Design
E-SANJIVNI is a government sponsored mobile application that addresses healthcare challenges among underserved populations by offering free access to medical professionals. However, there exists a knowledge gap regarding basic health information, first aid, and immediate care through which the uneducated and undereducated population of India can also maximise the benefits of this initiative.
Why First Aid
According to the research titled “Emergency care with lay responders in underserved populations: a systematic review” by the National Institutes of Health, USA, empowering laypeople with the knowledge and skills to manage health emergencies builds community capacity to respond to a variety of emergency conditions. This is crucial in areas where access to professional medical care may be limited or delayed.
